Senior Technician, PSAV at The Hilton, Union Square, San Fransisco       06/15 – Present

  • Setup and operation of professional audio, video, lighting gear and wireless networking for live events, servicing clients such as Salesforce, Google and Apple.
  • Manage Local 16 crew and PSAV internal technicians in order to set large General Session and breakout rooms.
  • Interact with clients to insure that all their AV needs are met with a focus on exceeding expectations.
  • Provide new Techs with the technical knowledge to use AV gear and to be able to set anything from Breakout rooms to General Sessions.

  • Compose new original music for Video Games, YouTube shows, Film and Podcasts.

  • Provided instruction to undergraduates and graduates of varying age, discipline, and experience on recording aspects from microphone placement to analog tape splicing.
  • Held weekly lab sessions in analog and digital recording techniques, multitrack recording, audio editing, and mixing.
